Police report on two crashes
A 43-year-old man from Sandys was injured in a traffic accident at about 7am yesterday on Harbour Road, Paget, near the junction with Salt Kettle Road, according to police.
A spokesman said the single vehicle crash, which caused traffic delays, occurred as the rider was headed east on Harbour Road.
The man was taken to the hospital and later discharged.
Meanwhile, a three-vehicle collision yesterday on Middle Road, Smith’s by Store Hill resulted in a 26-year-old Hamilton Parish woman being treated for injuries.
The woman was headed east on Middle Road on a motorcycle, and a van was travelling in the same direction, when there was a crash involving a westbound car.
All three vehicles were damaged, and traffic delayed. The woman was later discharged from hospital.
