Government, gyms team up for week of fitness
A Department of Health scheme to promote exercise and diet kicks off next week.
The Fitness in the Park programme is to begin on Monday.
A Government spokeswoman said: “The Department has partnered with local gyms to promote the important role that physical activity and healthy eating play in achieving a healthily lifestyle.”
Free lunchtime exercise classes will be offered Monday through Friday from 12.30pm to 1.15pm in Victoria Park.
The classes will run until March 29.
The weekly scheduled of activities are:
Monday: Zumba with Inspired Fitness
Tuesday: Cardio kick-boxing with Longevity Athletics Bermuda
Wednesday: Core De Force or Brazilian Butt with The Athletic Club (Core De Force: March 6 and 13; Brazilian Butt: March 20 and 27)
Thursday: Strong by Zumba with BodyFit Bda Ltd
Friday: CrossFit with CrossFit Bermuda
