Pupils at a Pembroke school were sent home early yesterday because of plumbing problems.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Education confirmed that Dellwood Middle School was forced to close early but it is expected to reopen this morning.

The plumbing problem is not the first faced by the school. Mould work in September forced it to start the new term late.
