British Airways flights cancelled
This evening’s British Airways flight from Gatwick has been cancelled.
Sallie Singleton, spokeswoman with British Airways, said the cancellation was due to a “technical fault”.
Ms Singleton added: “Beacuse safety is our top priority at all times, we would never operate an aircraft unless it was safe to do so.”
Consequently the overnight return flight this evening from LF Wade International Airport back to London has also been cancelled.
The flight was due to depart at 7.55pm.
Ms Singleton said all passengers who were to fly on tonight’s cancelled flight could be accommodated on tomorrow’s flight.
