Small fire tackled in Devonshire


A Devonshire blaze was quickly extinguished by Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service this afternoon.

The small fire, which occurred at 3 Meadow Lane, was seen burning from inside of a container when firefighters arrived.

Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service said that workers on site contained the fire with the help of extinguishers before help arrived.

One worker was treated for minor smoke inhalation.

The fire is believed to have caused by welding equipment.
