Video shows brutal schoolboy attack
Police asked the public yesterday not to share a graphic video that shows a brutal attack on a schoolboy.
A police spokesman said that the short video clip showed the high school pupil “being assaulted by other young men”.
He added: “Due to the sensitive nature of this video, members of the public are urged not to share it.”
The spokesman said that the victim’s family had contacted police.
He added: “The BPS is progressing the investigation into this matter.”
The spokesman said that the video appeared to have been recorded at Bull’s Head car park in the City of Hamilton last Thursday.
Anyone with information that could help the inquiry should contact police at 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-8477.
